Very nice, good food, large portions, a little too little sauce

I was here for late lunch after visiting the Schoploch- Moor and the nature museum. The quality of food they served was excellent, the taste was grandiose and the staffs are very friendly. I'll come back again here!

The purest disaster! Stayed there for 2 nights for mass. Getting into the room was the first hurdle, it got stuck so that you almost had to throw yourself at you so that it would even open. When you arrived in the room you found run down furniture and Eike was absolutely out of date! The bed is a joke. Maybe suitable for children, but definitely not for an adult. The bathroom was just tiny, the faucet was more than just calcified. Everything was very neglected and dirty. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling everywhere. The breakfast room was very gloomy and the selection was very limited. Wide rolls, butter, cheese, sausage and coffee / tea. Another night in this accommodation was absolutely out of the question, so check out the next day. The reaction was very negative at first. It was asked why & when the reason followed, the invoice was made and handed over in silence. Never again!

The good reviews are beyond me! After a hike, we wanted to stop in but we have rarely experienced something like that! We could have been skeptical when the gentleman at the bar did not even say hello! But courtesy has nothing to do with good food! Far from how it turned out! Waiting time was 1h30min for two children schnitzel, lentils and spaetzle and 1 portion with boar roast! Had we overlooked it if the food tasted good, but the food was as bad as the welcome! Underground! I would give zero stars if it was possible!

"dr Honger doesn't do it ..." it means in Swabian. There is better in the area, the game menu sounded good, the implementation in the kitchen was below average and disappointing. (high prices and bad cuisine). The whole house has seen better days. No Vespers on the menu.

Good home cooking and very courteous and child-friendly staff. The roast roast was durchgebraten, it was with the order but also not asked how you would like it and even I did not think about it, so only a star deduction. Otherwise super delicious and absolutely to be recommended.

Somehow the good reviews were in another restaurant, or were they paid for? Just underground, have rarely eaten so badly and the service goes to the basement to be friendly. Absolutely tasteless and partially overcooked. Our children asked if the spaetzle were made from spelled because they were so dark. I think that says it all.

The place Ochsenwang is always worth a visit. You should definitely walk to the Randecker Maar and enjoy the breathtaking view. The restaurant Krone is highly recommended. The food and service is great. Price Leistund also. We will be back.

Food is very good, in the rooms you have to make compromises. All but clean and tidy. That's why only 4 stars

Very decent and friendly owner. If you can do without your phone for a few days and manage your own WLAN, you will find clean rooms and Swabian hospitality at affordable prices. If necessary, there is also a free landline connection for the guests at the reception. I will gladly come again! Thank you for everything!
